Did you know there is an awesome God who loves you and wants to fellowship with you?
God Loves Us
God created us for fellowship and dearly desires for us to be restored to Him. John 3:16-17 says:
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.
We were separated from God because of sin. We had no hope for restoration, but Jesus went to the cross to pay the ultimate price for us. God is holding the hand of friendship towards us and is waiting for each one of us to accept His invitation. (2 Corinthians 5:18-19)
Jesus Came to Give Life to Us
It is easy to see death and destruction working in this world and in the lives of our families. We can choose to receive God’s restoration and abundance of life through Christ Jesus. In John 10:10-11 we see the words of Jesus.
The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly. I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.
Accepting the Invitation
Due to sin, we are unable to live the glorious life that God designed for us. Out of His goodness, He cancelled the debt of sin. His gift to us. He did it through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Believing in Jesus is accepting the invitation which makes us right with God.
We were dead in sins but God who is great in love and mercy reached out to restore us to fellowship. (Ephesians 2:1,4)
I Receive Jesus as My Lord and Saviour
God says through His word that if you believe in your heart that Jesus was raised from the dead and confess with your mouth that Jesus is your Lord then you will be saved. Believe, confess and receive:
Lord Jesus, I ask You into my heart today to be my Lord and Saviour. Thank You for dying on the Cross for me and forgiving all my sins. I reject the devils influence on my life and turn to Jesus Christ. Thank You God for loving me and saving me. God, I choose to live for You from now on. Amen.
